“Tokyo Ghoul” Movie Launch Event and Live Stream from YouTube Space Tokyo

TO DISCUSS THE RELEASE OF THE “TOKYO GHOUL” LIVE ACTION MOVIE

 Guests to Include Original Manga Author Sui Ishida; Reveal of New Clip from the Movie

WHO:      (In attendance) Director Kentaro Hagiwara, Masataka Kubota (“Ken Kaneki”), Sui Ishida and other special guests.

WHAT:    Official launch event and worldwide live stream (with English closed captions) for the theatrical release of “Tokyo Ghoul,” the live action movie adaptation of the horror manga series of the same name by Sui Ishida. Director Kentaro Hagiwara, actor Masataka Kubota who portrays the lead character Ken Kaneki and other special guests, including original manga author Sui Ishida, will discuss the film and answer questions from fans in the audience as well as around the world. The launch event will include the release of a never before seen clip from the film as well as details on the new “Tokyo Ghoul” program hosted at YouTube Space in Tokyo, Japan. “Tokyo Ghoul” opens on July 28, 2017 in Japan.

Earlier today, Funimation Films announced its acquisition of the “Tokyo Ghoul” live action movie. Funimation will release the film in North American theatres in Japanese with English subtitles.  Dates for the theatrical release will be announced later.
