On Sunday morning at 6:00 a.m. EDT / 3:00 a.m. PDT, VIZ Media released a new trailer and key visual for Bleach’s long anticipated final season, revealing that the premiere is scheduled for airing in Japan and simulcasting worldwide on October 10.

Viz Media has yet to reveal which streaming service(s) will be simulcasting the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War as of this writing. Episodes of the original Bleach series are presently available to stream on Crunchyroll and Hulu. While both streaming platforms have historically simulcast Viz Media titles, neither service has officially revealed if they will be simulcasting the final season. There have been rumors that Disney+ had inked an exclusive deal to have the series on their service, but Viz Media has not commented on said rumors.

Adult Swim and Toonami previously premiered the English dub of the Bleach anime from September 9, 2006 to November 2, 2014. It is unknown if Toonami and VIZ Media have any plans on bringing the show back to the block for its final season. As with any potential Toonami show, If you wish to see Bleach return to the block for the Thousand-Year Blood War arc, continue watching the block every Saturday and feel free to send your show requests to Toonami’s Facebook page or by directly messaging Jason DeMarco on Twitter (@Clarknova1). We also recommend letting VIZ Media know through their respective social media outlets.
