Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
has been really making waves this anime season with its superb animation and fun characters, and has been quite the talk of town with it trending several times on Twitter making news. With the last episode just having finished airing, fans of the series were left wondering what would be next for the Shonen Jump series. It was announced back at Anime Expo 2019 that the English dub licensed by Aniplex would be premiering on Toonami and a premiere date, October 12th, was just recently announced a few weeks ago but now we are also learning that there will be a movie in the coming future.

After the final episode aired, a teaser trailer announced that the next Demon Slayer anime project would be a film adaptation of the Infinite Train arc. The Infinite Train arc is a direct continuation of the series after the conclusion of the Recovery Training arc in this week’s episode of the TV series.

The teaser trailer showed off a new key visual of the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku, surrounded by flames. The official website for Demon Slayer: Infinite Train confirms that Haruo Sotozaki will be returning as the director and Akira Matsushima will be returning as the character designer. The film will be produced at Ufotable.

A release date for the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba film has not yet been announced, however if any new information is learned we will be sure to update you.

The English dub of Demon Slayer will premiere on Toonami on October 12tn, 2019! Time TBA.
