Toonami Announcement Rundown: Dragon Ball Super Marathon Sept. 28th, Dr. Stone Doubleheader on Oct. 5th, Demon Slayer Dub and One-Punch Man S2 Premieres Oct. 12th on Toonami, My Hero Academia S4 SimulCast/Dub Announced Oct. 12th Toonami Premiere Still Unknown

There have been a slew of announcements to come out in the last 48 hours. Toonami will have a Dragon Ball Super encore marathon following the premiere of the penultimate episode on September 28th. The schedule is as follows:

Announced back at Anime Expo 2019, the hit anime series Demon Slayer, also known as Kimetsu no Yaiba, would be joining Toonami starting this fall. Today, Toonami has now confirmed the premiere date: Saturday, Oct. 12, which is also the same night One-Punch Man (Announced on September 11th), will return for its second season.

The full schedule Oct. 12th, including the time-slots for both shows is still yet to be revealed at this time. Aniplex has also yet to reveal the English Dub cast for Demon Slayer as of now. We will update you once any new information is learned.

Toonami will be showcasing a doubleheader of Dr. Stone episodes 6-7 on Oct. 5th, the same night Toonami will air the finales of both Dragon Ball Super and Gundam: The Origin. Becasue of this and the Dragon Ball Super marathon there will be a three week gap from the finale of gen:LOCK and the premiere of Demon Slayer and One-Punch Man. The schedule for October 5th is below.

And finally, in a press release FUNimation has announced that they will be simulcasting and simuldubbing the fourth season of My Hero Academia. The season premiere on YTV in Japan and on FunimationNow, Crunchyroll and Hulu stateside is set for Oct. 12. It is not known if the premiere date of the simuldub will also be October 12th or a later date and it has yet to be revealed when Toonami will get to air the new season.
