With the first season of Fena: Pirate Princess now in the books, this week Toonami revealed the schedules for the first two weeks of November, which will be centered on the season 5 finale of My Hero Academia and the series premiere of Blade Runner: Black Lotus. As previously mentioned, Halloween weekend on October 30-31 will feature a marathon of all 12 episodes of Fena: Pirate Princess’ first (and so far, only) season.
The regular schedule will return on November 6, and Toonami will finish off My Hero Academia‘s fifth season with a doubleheader of episodes 112-113 from Midnight to 1:00 a.m. Naruto Shippuden will shift up the schedule by 30 minutes to air at 2:00 a.m, while Fena will begin its encore run at 2:30 a.m.
In addition, the night of November 6-7 will be the end of Daylight Savings. The lineup will run as it normally does (with Dr. Stone and Dragon Ball Super airing in the “second” 2:00 a.m. hour). At 3:00 a.m, Toonami will finish off the block with a special “Bonus Shorts Block” with “cool shorts, extra goodies, and an overall hour of fun!”
The following week on November 13 will be the premiere night for Blade Runner: Black Lotus, and Toonami will kick things off with a doubleheader of the first two episodes from 12-1 am, occupying the time slots My Hero Academia vacated.
My Hero Academia won’t be gone for long as it has already been announced that a sixth season is already in production. A premiere date is to be announced. In the meantime, fans can get their My Hero Academia fix by checking out the third and newest film to the series, My Hero Academia: World Heroes Mission. The latest installment in the franchise began its North American theatrical run starting today, October 29.
