Welcome back to yet another Toonami Squad Gaming Zone System Update for the week of February 14th, 2022!
Nintendo held its first Nintendo Direct of the year on February 9th. Here are a few highlights from the Direct:
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes will release on 6/24.
Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp releases on 4/8.
A new iteration of the Wii Sports series, Nintendo Switch Sports, has also been announced! Play motion-controlled sports such as Bowling, Tennis, & Chambara as well as 3 new sports: Soccer, Volleyball, and Badminton. Also, enjoy online play across all sports! Nintendo Switch Sports launches 4/29. A free update will arrive in the summer, expanding the Leg Strap accessory compatibility to Soccer matches. Additionally, another free update planned to arrive in the fall will add Golf to the playable sports!
Mario Strikers: Battle League comes to Switch on 6/10.
No Man’s Sky is coming to Switch this summer.
Klonoa: Door to Phantomile and Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil are coming soon to Nintendo Switch!
SD Gundam Battle Alliance is coming to Switch later in 2022.
Portal and Portal 2 come to Nintendo Switch in the Portal Companion Collection in 2022!
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was announced and will be released this September.
